The First and LAST time I will stand up for Peyton Manning.

So I am at the gym today, breeding place for meatheads and the only place it seems ok for guys to check each other out, and I hear this discussion about SEC football. These two kids are discussing the quality of the league and how tough it is for a team to come out of their as a national championship contender. Now this is a good observation because if you come out of the SEC undefeated, you surely would have killed all the other teams in their entirety and won on forfeits. Its that tough to win. So the kid who thinks he knows everything football oriented (who also happens to be an oaf of epic proportions) declares that “The SEC never produces any quality quarterbacks, none!” He then qualifies his statement with “Other than Michael Vick”, who of course, played for the ACC team Virginia Tech. So he tried to make up for a terrible statement, but followed it with an error, making anything he says for the rest of his life a lie and punishable by death. The problem was the guy he was talking to made no attempt to discount him. Now I hate interjecting into conversations but I couldn’t let this go, I calmly said “What about Peyton Manning? “. I think it was the first 30 seconds that kid has ever shut up. I hate Peyton Manning, and it killed me to say he was a legit QB, but you gotta do what is right sometimes. Of course, after him, the SEC really doesn’t have that many good QB’s in the pros.

This kidis also a Bills, Yankees and Rangers fan. I hope someone drops a 60 pound weight they think they can curl but really can’t onto his foot. Tool.
